Federal prosecutors do not invent alias spellings. They extract them from documents: wire-transfer instructions, account registrations, co-defendant introductions, physical identification documents presented during a scheme. Every alias below came from a document.

From sentencing in approximately 2007-2008, this produces a release window around 2020-2021, consistent with the BOP-listed residential reentry date of August 12, 2020.
The family's account places a man named David Silva in Cuba and Sao Paulo during a period overlapping with Tonks's documented incarceration. The David Luiz Silva alias is confirmed in the SDNY federal record. Two data points point at the same identity from different directions. Part B will present the documents side by side.

Advar Leite da Luz held a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Universidade FUMEC in Belo Horizonte, documented in the Brazilian Lattes academic platform and Escavador professional database. His experience was in foreign trade and international business administration. He studied English at Miami Dade College's Wolfson Campus. His U.S. public-record footprint is anomalously thin for someone with documented Chicago residency. There is no published obituary and no law enforcement press release describing a homicide investigation into his death.
The same document contains Maria Farmer's April 20, 2025 email - sent five days before Virginia Giuffre's death - bearing the subject line "Why have I been provided zero protection as a Federal witness?" She sent it to Sigrid McCawley, David Boies, Jennifer Freeman, James Marsh, and Dawn Schneider, with fifty-nine images attached. She had been fighting two cancers and a coordinated harassment campaign for six years. George Tonks, named in the same document, was simultaneously presenting himself as a survivor advocate while publicly attacking Maria Farmer and Virginia Giuffre.
The escalation path is documented. Online criticism of the investigation led to allegations of a criminal record, which led to 22 false reports across multiple platforms, which led to the FBI calling twice about a names-on-bullets claim filed from outside the country - both cases investigated, found not credible, closed - which led to Homeland Security, Secret Service, and counterterrorism contact on a presidential-threat allegation filed from South Africa by a person named in this investigation's own reporting.
Samantha Harris is connected to the Anouska De Georgiou lane. Anouska De Georgiou is a survivor whose testimony was part of the Ghislaine Maxwell prosecution. This investigation wrote about Samantha Harris because she was being used against Anouska. After scrutinizing that lane, a report appeared from South Africa alleging this journalist was planning to kill the President.
George Tonks has cultivated a presence inside the Epstein survivor community. This section belongs in the record because that community includes real survivors who are genuinely vulnerable and who deserve accurate information about who is in their space.
He has publicly attacked Maria Farmer - insinuating she fabricated claims and mocking her cancer treatment in public posts. He has publicly attacked Virginia Giuffre, suggesting her account is false. He has used Lady Victoria Hervey - one of the primary subjects of The Machine investigation into the Maxwell rehabilitation network - as a credibility reference, recording a TikTok praising Hervey's attacks on Epstein survivors.
The pattern is documented. Every scheme he has run shares the same architecture: identify a community of people who want something they're having difficulty accessing, position yourself as someone with access to that thing, build ambient credibility that makes questioning you feel like an attack on the thing being offered, collect the investment, and when scrutiny arrives, attack the investigators rather than address the claims. The Epstein survivor community wants accountability and has been failed by every institution that was supposed to deliver it. Into that space walked a man who said he was there too.
EFTA01652016 names him alongside Ghislaine Maxwell and David Boies in a witness harassment complaint. A person named in a witness harassment complaint alongside Maxwell, who attacks Epstein survivors in public and responds to questions about a dead man's burial by threatening a journalist's husband, is not fighting the network. He is functioning inside it.
